Missing from Huntsville, AL since May 31, 2010
On May 31, 2010, 33-year-old Lana Elaine Faulk Quesenberry disappeared from Huntsville, Alabama. In the early days following her disappearance, reports circulated that she may have been seen purchasing cigarettes near Bob Wallace Avenue. However, investigators with the Huntsville Police Department now believe Lana was last seen between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. on Governor’s Drive. Where she went or how she left the area remains unknown.
Lana was known to occasionally go stretches without checking in with family or friends, which initially delayed concern. But when she failed to appear at a planned graduation ceremony, loved ones quickly realized something was wrong. Despite the growing unease, it wasn’t until July 12—over a month later—that Lana was officially reported missing by her boyfriend. He told investigators he believed she may have entered a rehabilitation program, but no confirmation of this has ever been found.
At the time she disappeared, Lana was 4’11”, weighed around 130 pounds, and had brown eyes and black hair. She would be 47 years old today.
Despite the time that has passed, Lana’s case remains open and active. Investigators continue to follow leads and are hopeful that someone, somewhere, holds a key piece of information.
