StilL Missing: Tara Lynn Sawyer and Britton Baisden

Loved ones, neighbors, and local advocates continue to rally for visibility and clues in ongoing missing persons cases

In small towns and rural counties, the disappearance of a neighbor isn’t just a headline—it’s personal. Two families in South Alabama continue to endure the unthinkable, holding out hope that someone, somewhere, may hold the key to finding Tara Lynn Sawyer (also known as Tara Schrock) and Britton Baisden.

Both women vanished under separate but equally mysterious circumstances, and their cases remain unsolved. Today, communities across Conecuh County, Flomaton, and surrounding areas are standing together to raise awareness, share their stories, and encourage anyone with information to come forward.

Tara Lynn Sawyer (Schrock): Missing from the Range, AL area since 2022

Tara Lynn Sawyer was last seen in the Range community of Conecuh County, Alabama. While official records such as those on NamUs and ALEA list her last known sighting as July 4, 2022, family members believe she may have been in contact as late as August or September 2022.

Tara was 31 years old at the time of her disappearance. She is a Caucasian female, approximately 5’6″ tall, weighing around 235 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. Her online presence has been difficult to trace, with multiple Facebook accounts under various names. Her most recent activity was a cover photo update on July 24, 2022—after which, all signs of online communication stopped.

Tara’s loved ones continue to search for answers, and they believe someone may know more than they’ve shared. Even the smallest piece of information could make a difference.
