In August of 2022, Martha Fikes contacted us about her father, William Charles “Pete” Fikes, who disappeared from Walker County when she was only three or four years old. Unfortunately, Martha had very little information about what happened to her father and she was hoping sharing his story might lead to new information.
We were able to find a few articles through the various newspaper archives, but even those articles created more doubt than certainty. Join us this week as we discuss the 1976 disappearance of Pete Fikes and the questions we hope to find answers to.
