Summary
For over 10 years, Opelika Police Department diligently searched for the identity of Baby Jane Doe, whose remains were discovered behind an Opelika mobile home park in 2012. On Thursday 1/19/23, OPD announced they finally had a name - Amore Joveah Wiggins. Not only did they have her name, with the help of many forensics teams and detectives, they’d also located her biological parents in two different states.
OPD is asking anyone with any information related to Lamar and Ruth Vickerstaff’s relationship with Amore and/or Amore’s time in Opelika to please contact OPD Detective Division at 334-705-5220 or the Secret Witness Hotline at 334-745-8665. #JusticeForAmore
