Lisa Wallace
Missing – October 27, 2012 – Eufala

Ep 4: Lisa Wallace & Christian Boyle – Unforgotten
Barbour County
30-year-old Lisa Wallace was last seen on October 27, 2012, near Chewalla Creek Drive in Eufaula. According to her husband Chris Wallace, the pair had an argument and Lisa packed a bag and left on foot while he was dropping their daughter off at his mother’s.
Friends and family alleged that Lisa was a victim of domestic violence and encouraged her to leave Chris. Records from The Charley Project indicate that Lisa and Chris had initiated divorce proceedings shortly before she went missing. Additionally, Lisa was grappling with a brain tumor and was set to have a second surgery in December, yet she reportedly exhibited no cognitive impairment and her behavior remained unchanged.
In 2013, Kathy Johnston, a private investigator hired by Lisa’s mother, told media outlets that authorities had ignored evidence, claiming a bloody mattress had been located in the woods off Highway 95 and was not tested for Lisa’s DNA. Eufala PD Sgt. Larry Hubbard responded by saying the mattress was not relevant at the time and did not respond further.
In 2019, Chris and his girlfriend were pulled over by Auburn Police Officer Justin Sanders related to a robbery of a local pharmacy. Someone in the vehicle shot Officer Sanders before fleeing the scene to a relative’s apartment nearby. A standoff with Auburn PD ensued, however, Chris shot his girlfriend and then took his own life before authorities could breach the apartment.
Over 10 years later, the search for Lisa continues.
